The Living Life Series is dedicated to Lord (武天) Bo Tien. The doctrine is in His image. The image is the doctrine. He who sees, understands and effects the doctrine sees and knows Him. He who does not see, know and effect the doctrine sees not and knows not the saint even if the saint or His image is beside him. The far may be near and the near may be far. Let the doctrine and the saint be part of our life. The lord saint in your life can be any heavenly saint of any religion, sect or school. The doctrine of truth is behind all and this is the Inner Truth that leads all (regardless of their religious affliliation or even if none) to inner peace and heaven on earth here and now and not just in the after life. The ideal worship and devotion is to know and effect the doctrine of God and the saints. The best gospel is the gospel of life. We learn from our life and the lives of others. The true temple is the world we live in. The sky is the roof of the temple and religions and sects are the pillars of the temple. All under Heaven are in the temple. The whole wide world and web is the temple and must be regarded as a sacred place --- a temple for living and learning. It is more important that everyone that counts plays a role in this universal temple if due focus is to be given to the Mission of Heaven. Men must not be distracted by the agenda of men and end up serving the mission of man. That would be a far cry from the Mission of Heaven.

The Tao that is in all religions

Learning Point No 386

Many years have gone since the lord saint Lord Bo Tien ended w.e.f. 1969 the first 13 years of His mission reiterating that He has passed down the basic the basic Four Pillars Doctrine.

Religions may be different like sunshine and rain or if you prefer, like Fire and Water. But different as they may be, they gravitate towards saving of the souls so that more may be good enough to be with God. How do we do so?

We have to be good or to put it in another way to be pure. Doing good works is just the mundane or worldly step. It helps us to feel good that we are helping others who are in need. But we are helping them to meet more of the mundane or physical needs so that they like us could better live the mundane or worldly life with less strive, less worldly problems.

Even saints try to help us when we seek their help or blessings through prayers. Issues if big may then be small issues even if they could not be no issue. Small issues will be no issue. For we alone by ourselves may not be good enough though we do know that we must live our own life and Heaven help those who help themselves.

It is easy to depend on others but too much may not be good. We need to be more independent. That is perhaps why the lord saint Lord Bo Tien had limited his coming down through a medium Philip to only thirteen years and even Philip had ascended many years now, in fact not many years after the end of the 13 years of the first phase and during the second 13 years which was devoted to good works or charity.

Good works help to alleviate physical suffering  The saving of souls is beyond good works.

We have to cultivate the mind or spirit so that we can have that more lasting peace not affected by worldly contingencies or polarities like birth and death, gain and loss and what have you. The list is endless.

What is paramount is not to deny them but to face them. We must be able to balance them and be at peace with the ups and downs of life. There is so much we can do.

But we can always have more of the peace come what may. We need to balance the polarities, the yin and the yang. This will promote the saving of the soul.

This is Tao or Tou-li, the Logic of the Way. This is the Tao that is in all religions and mind you the terms yin and yang are just Chinese terms peculiar to Chinese language.

Tao is also present in mundane life when we talk about work life balance. Perhaps in holistic sense, taking both mundane and spiritual life, Tao has to do with the optimisation of man and his soul / spirit and this is even more significant type of Tao at higher helicopter level.

Cheers. God bless
